StackSource recently arranged a $1.1 million LP Equity Partnership investment for the construction of a 196-unit self storage facility in the Atlanta, GA market. The sponsor is an experienced multifamily and self storage developer with an excellent track record.
Director Chad Greene arranged the equity via an investment group with an appetite for smaller LP checks who is able to move quickly and does not require a majority position in the joint venture or control rights. Equity investments of this nature are notoriously challenging to place, a fact made more difficult in the current capital markets environment. The proposed development’s return profile and sponsor experience, along with Chad’s relationship with the investment group were able to lead to a successful outcome and quick funding.
